I do book signings, presentations, interviews, just about anything. I also do Human Trafficking presentations at schools and anywhere else that will have me. I usually mix the presentations together, but can do one or the other if necessary. The book is about modern day slavery, set in a fantasy setting. Slavery is a big issue with me, but I will tone down the message for younger children and present a more upbeat nature. My novel is appropriate for children ages ten and up. I have taken speech classes and drama, so I am able to act accordingly to what situation I am in, but I do not believe the topic of slavery should be completely removed from any presentation.
I also do presentations that tell kids and teens how to keep safe, so as not be become a slave and on how to get past writers block, the steps it takes to get published, as well as some writing practice games for all ages where I will display age appropriate artwork and ask the students to write a story based on what they see.
